WST-XML Dump Bodies for T.A. Application by J-CRAFT

The backbone of the ULTRA line is of course the Tandem axle application.  Simply an up-scaled version of its younger brother, it boasts a little larger & deeper boxed sections, while still maintaining a sleek, clean, and simplistic design.  

  
These bodies utilize High Strength steels, allowing you to have durability without sacrificing weight.  No matter what hauling test you put it through (stock piling, asphalt, sanding, demolition).  This body performs and looks like new when the job is done.

Single Axle ULTRA-MX Specifications:

Tandem Axle

Front: 

45" High, 10 ga A607-50 construction, w/reinforced top rail, & formed horizontal braces at 1/3 points.  Optional: mtg for rubber flap seal, when a stationary cabshield is used.
  

Sides:

30" High, 10 ga A607-50 outer construction, & 3/16" thick 180,000psi, 400 brinell inner construction, from top rail down to the corner cleanout junction.  Sloped self-cleaning rubrails.  Sides are horizontally braced with (1) formed 3" wide self-cleaning brace.  Full depth rear stainless steel corner posts.  Board pockets for 2" lumber, front & rear.
  

Tailgate:

36" High, 3/16" AR400 main panel, with 10 gauge GR50 bracing, 3 panel design.  Self-cleaning boxed top rail, with all horizontals self-cleaning.  Top hinge ears are 1" thick.  3/8" alloy spreader chains included.  Top and bottom pins are 1-1/4" diameter.  Double over-center linkage, independently adjustable at each latch, w/air trip.
  

Floor:

1/4" thick 180,000 psi, 400 brinell, low carbon plate construction, full width and length of body.  Floor is (1) piece design, and includes angled corner cleanouts at the sides and at the front to floor junctions.
  

Under-Structure:

W-8" or S-10" I-BEAM construction longsills, crossmemberless, w/structural channel rear bolster, full width & depth, and including a reinforced front gusset.
  

Lights:

Meet FMVSS-108 requirements.  Clearance lights are sealed L.E.D., rubber grommet mounted in the rear corner posts, with cluster of (3) separate from body.
  

Prep/Paint:

Exterior of body is grit blasted prior to application of Epoxy primer and top coated (optionally) with (2) coats of Urethane enamel.  Underside is coated with undercoating standard.
  

Steel grades and thickness may be varied due to customer specifications.  Specifications are subject to change.

Elliptical Municipal Dump Bodies by J-CRAFT        Back to previous page

Setting a new standard in the municipal market, is just what the J-CRAFT ULTRA-LTR & ULTRA-MXR (for municipal applications) is doing.  These body designs stray Tandem Elliptical Dump Bodies by J-CRAFT of Kimball, MN away from the conventional 'square' body, and offers yet another innovation for the fleet manager to utilize.  These bodies feature a lot of the same options as the traditional body design,  but enhance the flowability of materials, increase the ease of cleaning the body, eliminate dead weight, and yet are capable of hauling any material you throw at it (including rip-rap, demolition, etc.).  The generous 18" radius of the sides make the side to floor transition so smooth, that you don't need to worry about your load hanging up on it.
